Experience in staffing/consulting.

I have been in technology staffing and consulting for over ten years and before that worked in the IT industry.  I have managed teams and offices in Chicago and Dallas.

First job ever:

Golf caddy

What makes Rekruiters / Devvelopers great?

Fun and collaborative.

What are you surprisingly good at?

Hitting my driver in golf – I’m more accurate from 300 yards than I am from under 100 yards.

Favorite part of your job:

The hunt.

Military Experience:

US Army – 82nd Airborne Division – Infantry Airborne – HUAH!

Advice for people looking for a job:

Be honest and be yourself.

Hobbies

My latest is building models – currently working on a custom dollhouse for my daughter which is very calming after the hectic pace that is staffing.  It will most likely take a year or more to complete.  And training for marathons. Hopefully that won’t take a year or more to complete!

Why should a client/candidate work with you?

Because we’re good, hardworking, authentic people who believe that what’s best for our clients and candidates comes before everything else.

Favorite quote:

You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take. —Wayne Gretzky

What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?

Building long standing relationships with our clients and candidates.  Personally, my wife and kids… hands down! Marathons would be next on the list.

Causes you care about:

Veterans

Where you were born and where you’ve lived:

Chicago, Washington DC, Dallas.  I also lived in the Saudi/Iraqi Desert for 10 months. It wasn’t the humidity, it was the heat!

What problems do you consistently solve for your clients?

Time management.  They trust we provide quality which limits the number of resumes they have to read and the number of interviews they do.

Pets?

2 cats  and 1 german shepherd

Favorite sport:

Golf then Hockey

Favorite sports team:

Blackhawks

Star Wars or Star Trek:

Star Wars (only because it was my generation)

Batman or Ironman:

Batman (because of the cool gadgets and I watched it on TV as a kid)

Xbox or Playstation

No preference (I’ve never owned either)
