Job Description:

We are seeking a mid-level software developer to go above and beyond in contributing to development projects, while also practicing superb collaboration skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement new software programs
  • Maintain and improve the performance of existing software
  • Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues
  • Design and update software database
  • Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization
  • Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary
  • Confirm program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science required
  • 3+ years’ experience in web and software development
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML/5, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, AngularJS, .NET stack, MVC, Bootstrap, C#, REST, Web API
  • Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, Visual Studio IDE, TDD development, Agile methodology, and Scrums
  • Comfortable writing and analyzing SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
  • Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business
  • Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Hands-on software troubleshooting experience
  • Strong oral and written communication in English
  • iOS (Objective C or Swift) programming experience is a plus
  • Hybrid mobile application development experience is a plus
  • User interface / user experience is a plus
  • 3rd party toolkits integration experience is a plus
  • Certifications are a PLUS
  • Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to provide application support over the phone or in person while always maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Good problem solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
