Our client is in the Oil & Gas services industry, and their IT team is growing and looking for a strong Business Process Analyst to join and improve company processes and procedures.

Located on the East side of Houston

Job Summary:  The Business Analysis team enables change and drives solutions to align with business needs.  This individual models and analyzes processes to determine business requirements for developing solutions, both technical and non-technical. He or she will be responsible for engaging internal  customers to align on priorities, define improvement opportunities, and help drive the execution of improvement initiatives.


  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of existing business processes and systems
  • Gather information to understand how current systems either support or don’t support business processes
  • Assess and develop current models of business and system operations
  • Research and develop new models of business and system operations as needed
  • Evaluate current business and system processes and recommend design modifications or solutions as needed
  • Work with technology teams to facilitate business or technical solutions
  • Identify and validate solutions meet business needs by working with stakeholders and end users
  • Gather, elicit, and document business and technical requirements as needed
  • Assist with scope assessment and evaluation of costs and benefits of solution options
  • Create training documentation for end users
  • Collaborate with project management to create project plans and assist with monitoring and communicating project progress

  • Proficiency with MS Office, Windows, and other Microsoft products
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system, Supply Chain
  • Ability to create and use project plans to manage workload
